I want to volunteer. How do I do that?

How old do you have to be to volunteer by yourself?

At least 16, unless you have attended the orientation session and have cleared it with management.

Can I bring my kids?

Kids aged 6 and above are welcome. Please keep them with you at all times.

I put in an application to adopt a puppy/dog. When will I know if I am approved?

You should hear something within 48 hours, but if you do not, kindly send an email to [email protected].

Do I have to attend a new volunteer orientation before I can volunteer?

If you plan to handle the pets directly, we strongly encourage you to attend an orientation. However, if you would like to volunteer before the next scheduled orientation with events or projects that do not require handling, our staff can help you find a project that will help us greatly and can be done before the orientation.

I need volunteer hours for community service/beta club/service organizations. How do I sign up?

We implemented a new volunteer platform in May 2021. We now have a mobile app that enables you to sign up for opportunities, check-in, and download a copy of all your volunteer hours.

Where can I see what dogs/puppies are available to adopt?

You can see our available pets on our website here, Facebook page and Petfinder.com.

Do you take blankets/sheets/pillow donations?

We are currently accepting towels, sheets and hand towels.

I want to donate food or supplies. Where do I find out what you need? Do you have an Amazon Wishlist?
