From beginning their appointment with stress-free curbside drop off to ensuring a clean, seamless appointment in their very own designated clinic area and recovery suite; your pet will receive the royal treatment with us.

Our Veterinary Staff
Dr. Kayla Mehan
Director of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Kayla Mehan has more than 15 years of veterinary and rescue experience. Her main focus is in small animal medicine, and she is passionate about rescue and emergency medicine.
She graduated from veterinary school at Lincoln Memorial University and earned her undergraduate from the University of Georgia. She has worked extensively with local rescues and shelters, and has been working with us at Royal Animal Refuge for more than four years. We are thrilled she has partnered with us to make Royal Pet Vet a reality.
Dr. Kayla lives on a farm in Moreland with her husband and twin daughters. She has three labs named Maddie, Huck, and Tilly and one farm cat named Miles.
